【《华人》传媒编辑王惠豫11月28日】首批辉瑞公司（Pfzer）和德国BioNTech联合研发的COVID-19疫苗于星期五（11月27日）由美国联合航空公司的包机，从比利时的布鲁塞尔运达美国。
辉瑞的疫苗必须保持在低于冰点的温度下，以保持剂量的有效性。美国联邦航空管理局（FAA）允许美联航每次飞行携带15,000磅干冰，是允许上限的五倍。
上周，辉瑞公司向美国食品药品管理局（FDA）申请了紧急使用授权（EUA）。 一旦批准，疫苗将被立即分发。
