〈Phenomenal Woman〉（〈非凡的女性〉）是美国著名诗人玛雅・安杰罗（Maya Angelou，1928–2014）最著名的诗作之一。诗的开头写道：

“美丽的女人都好奇，我的秘密究竟在哪里。”

（Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.）

诗中的女性说明，她的力量并不是来自传统意义上的完美外貌或理想身材。她所拥有的「秘密」，其实是一种更深层的力量——自信、自我接纳、尊严，以及对自身价值的认识。

本期封面人物靳羽西以及本期介绍的几位女性，都是属于非凡的人物。她们都具有安杰罗所形容的特质，她们真正的美丽来自坚韧的品格、强大的内心，以及自信所展现出的自我尊重与内在力量。她们勇敢地活出自己、认清自己，毫不犹豫地昂首自信地拥抱未来。

“Ubuntu”是一句源自非洲班图语系文化的经典箴言，蕴含着深刻的人生哲理。短短一句话，道出了其核心精神：我们彼此成就，因彼此而存在。（“I am because we are, and since we are, therefore I am.”）

这一理念提醒我们，每个人的成长都与他人息息相关。一个微笑、一双援手、一句鼓励的话语，都能传递善意，拉近彼此的距离。唯有彼此支持、相互成就，才能汇聚善意与力量，共同创造更美好的未来。

Phenomenal Woman is one of the most famous poems by the renowned American poet Maya Angelou (1928–2014). The poem begins:

“Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.”

The woman in the poem explains that her power does not come from traditionally defined physical perfection or an ideal figure. The "secret" she possesses is, in fact, a deeper kind of strength—self-confidence, self-acceptance, dignity, and awareness of her worth.

Her strength comes from within. It is this inner confidence that makes her a "phenomenal woman" in the eyes of others. What she expresses is that true beauty comes from knowing yourself, accepting yourself, and facing the world with confidence and dignity.

True beauty is not merely something seen on the outside; it comes from confidence, character, self-respect, and inner strength. She knows who she is, accepts who she is, and has the courage to live as her true self.

“Ubuntu” is an African philosophy rooted in the Bantu-speaking cultures of Southern Africa. In just a few words, it expresses a powerful message: "I am because we are, and since we are, therefore I am."

This philosophy reminds us that our growth and well-being are deeply connected to others. A smile, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement can spread kindness and bring people closer together. By supporting and uplifting one another, we can create a ripple effect of compassion and strength, working together to build a better future for all.
