親愛的讀者朋友們，

全世界的華人千千萬萬，在海外的華人更是難以計數。出生在荷蘭鄉間的李偉漢，小時候除了在生日時吃長壽麵外，他並不知道其它中華民族的悠久歷史，更別談漢字與中文了。他的尋根故事以及他創建的「中華家脈」（My  China  Roots）事業發人深省，也令人感動。

本期的封面人物李偉漢的故事是個超越時空的故事，希望讀者也會跟我一樣深深地被觸動。四月也是清明時節，清明是祭祖的傳統節日，每逢清明倍思親，我們緬懷我們的先輩，也心繫那些飄洋過海不斷尋根的華人。

4月2日是「世界提高自閉症意識日」（World Autism Awareness Day），全世界對自閉的了解仍然十分有限，而自閉的人群在我們身邊比比皆是。要了解他們的故事、了解他們的心聲，我們必須接觸他們、包容他們，更需要擁抱及理解他們。德國哲學家尼采曾說過：「人來到這世上，就應該跟最好的人，最美的事物，最芬芳的靈魂傾心相見，唯此才不負生命一場。」

愛因斯坦曾說過「如果以爬樹的能力來判斷一條魚，那他終極一生以為自己愚蠢。」所以我們要接受魚在水裡遊、鳥在天上飛，生物多樣化、神經多樣化是我們每天必須面對的事實，尼采及愛因斯坦所說的話令人深省，並與各位讀者共勉之。

There are countless Chinese people around the world, and the number of those living overseas is even harder to estimate. Born in the countryside of the Netherlands, Huihan Lie knew very little about the long and rich history of the Chinese people during his childhood. Aside from eating longevity noodles on his birthday, he had almost no exposure to Chinese culture, let alone Chinese characters or the language itself. His journey of rediscovering his roots, along with the creation of the “My  China  Roots” (中華家脈), is both thought-provoking and deeply moving. The cover story of this issue, featuring Huihan Lie, is a story that transcends time and space, and I hope readers will be as profoundly touched by it as I am.

April 2 marks World Autism Awareness Day. Despite growing attention, understanding of autism around the world remains quite limited, yet individuals on the autism spectrum are all around us. To truly understand their stories and hear their voices, we must engage with them, accept them, and most importantly, embrace and understand them.

Albert Einstein once said, “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is stupid” (Source: Internet). We should accept that fish swim in water and birds fly in the sky. Biological diversity and neurological diversity are facts we encounter every day. The words of Einstein are profoundly thought-provoking, and I share them with all readers as encouragement.
