美国交通部周五表示，将暂停四家中国航空公司从美国飞往中国的 44 班航班，以回应中国因发现新冠病例熔断部分美国航空公司航班的决定。

中国自12月31日起因熔断政策暂停了20架美联航空、10架美国航空和14架达美航空的航班。这44班航班分别是：

 底特律-上海（DL283） 7班

 西雅图-上海（DL287） 8班

 达拉斯-上海（AA127） 11班

 旧金山-上海（UA857） 18班

交通部表示，中国暂停这44个航班“不利于公共利益，需要采取对等的回应措施”。它补充说，中国对被美国的航空公司采取的单边行动不符合中美双边协议。

首趟被停飞的将是厦航1月30日由洛杉矶飞往厦门的航班。大多数被停飞的航班是洛杉矶出发的，另外一些航班是纽约出发，时间从1月底到3月29日，涉及目前中美航线上的所有中国航空公司，包括厦航、国航、南航和东航。这44个航班分别是：

国航洛杉矶至深圳（CA770）：3月1日、8日、15日、22日、29日航班

 国航洛杉矶至天津（CA988）：3月6日、13日、20日、27日航班

 东航纽约至上海（MU588）：2月2日、7日、9日、14日、16日、21日、23日、28日、3月2日、7日、9日、14日、16日、21日、23日、28日航班

 南航洛杉矶至广州（CZ328）：3月4日、11日、18日、20日、25日、27日航班

 厦航洛杉矶至厦门（MF830）：1月30日、2月6日、13日、20日、27日、3月2日、6日、9日、13日、16日、20日、23日、27日航班

 声明指，如果中国修改其政策，改善美国航司的运营条件，美国交通部也准备好重新审视这些对等措施。但另一方面，声明警告称，如果中国取消更多航班，那么美国也保留采取进一步措施的权利。
