世卫组织称清零政策不可持续，中国禁止转发该联合国新闻
联合国新闻5月10日报道，世界卫生组织总干事谭德塞今天在日内瓦回答记者提问时表示，考虑到新冠病毒的特性以及对未来的预期，世卫组织认为清零防疫政策是不可持续的。
但是该新闻被中国社交媒体转发后，纷纷遭到删帖。
在新闻中，谭德塞指出，新冠病毒正在进化，其特性正在变得更具传播性，随着这种特性的变化，改变相关措施将是非常重要的。
他说：“考虑到病毒现在的特性以及我们对未来的预期，我们认为清零战略是不可持续。特别是当我们现在对这个病毒有了更好的了解，当我们有很好的抗疫工具可以使用时，过渡到另一个战略将是非常重要的。”
谭德塞表示，世卫组织已经与中国专家讨论了这个问题，并表示这种方法是不可持续的。
统计显示，截至2022年5月10日，中国已累计报告超过137万例新冠病毒确诊病例和1万5469例死亡病例。自今年2月起，随着奥密克戎变异株及其亚谱系的蔓延，中国多地正在经历2020年以来最严重的疫情。
世卫组织突发卫生事件规划执行主任迈克尔·瑞安当天表示，面对死亡病例的增加，任何政府都会采取行动。但是所有这些行动应该对个人权利和人权表现出应有的尊重。世卫组织一直强调，需要平衡管控措施及其对社会的影响、对经济的影响。
他说：“正如谭德塞博士所说，需要根据你在数据中看到的情况以及根据对你的人口的最佳利益进行调整，以找到适合每个国家的退出战略。而谭德塞博士一直在与中国同事深入和详细地讨论这个问题。”
